This rare species produces incredibly coloured toilet-bowl shaped pitchers with a highly flared, funnel-shaped peristome. This very sought after species also produces some of the stickiest, most viscous pitcher fluid of all Nepenthes, <\/em>a feature that helps pitchers retain insect prey even if the pitcher is tipped over. <\/span><\/p>\n
